The frame of the Acid 240 Disc is made from the same heat-treated 6061 aluminium tube sets as our adult mountain bikes and is therefore just as robust and stable. However, we have adapted its proportions and weight to the requirements of children. The fitted disc brakes are easy to operate and support powerful, safe braking manoeuvres in all weathers. In addition, mudguards can be screwed on - and a bottle cage so that the youngsters are always well supplied when out and about. Its handling promises a high level of riding fun and reliability at the same time - so youngsters can build up plenty of self-confidence. Because the odd crash can hardly be avoided, we have also fitted an easily replaceable derailleur hanger. This makes costly repairs after a crash a thing of the past.
