Cube: Technical innovation and sporty design made in Germany
Cube was founded in 1993 in Waldershof in the Upper Palatinate by Marcus Pürner and is now the market leader in many European countries. There, the manufacturer serves the mountain bike and road bike segment every year with its latest top models.
E-bikes, mountain bikes and road bikes as well as cargo bikes from the southern German manufacturer are now available in 67 countries worldwide. Cube serves the market with its very differentiated product range of more than 350 different bikes and e-bikes. So everyone can find the right model for their purposes.
The popular bikes are manufactured in Waldershof on an area of about 35,000 m². The team of more than 450 employees assembles up to 2,500 bikes there every day, which are then shipped to specialist dealers or wholesalers. Some of the bicycles produced are stored in the bicycle logistics centre opened in 2018. There, over 100,000 bikes can be stored on 20,000 m² in order to ship the desired model to dealers worldwide as needed.
There is plenty of action in the in-house test lab: Cube bikes are specifically tested depending on the area of use. The intensive tests take place indoors and outdoors and go beyond the generally applicable standards for bicycles, e-bikes and pedelecs. This is because the manufacturer's bikes are often used for sporting purposes and regularly have to withstand the highest demands in competitions. With the help of the brand's own test standards, the weight, durability and design of each bike can be optimised and adapted to the demands of the model category.
