A good example of this is the Supreme RT Hybrid Deluxe EX, which hits the road with a coaster brake in combination with powerful hydraulic disc brakes. Why coaster brakes? Because it is practical and can be activated directly by pedalling and reliably decelerates and stops the grippy, lightning-fast 50 mm Schwalbe tyres, which increases safety. Just as easy to operate is the clean, low-noise, low-maintenance Gates toothed belt, plus mudguards, lights, a kickstand and the semi-integrated pannier rack 2.0. The air suspension fork, the suspension parallelogram seat post and the adjustable stem provide extra comfort - and of course the 5-speed hub gears from Shimano work seamlessly with the Bosch Performance motor, which is efficiently propelled by a 600 Wh battery.
