The range of mountain bikes on the market is huge. So why should you pay particular attention to one brand? Focus will answer this question with a knowing smile. Because when we talk about expertise in e-mountain bikes, a Focus bike should immediately spring to mind.

What makes Focus bikes so desirable?

As a brand of the German company Derby Cycle, Focus has been promising the highest quality in bicycles since the early 1990s. Originally, the brand was intended to sell high-quality mountain bikes. However, with the support of cyclocross icon Mike Kluge, the trekking and cyclocross bike segment was quickly added. Road racing bikes, time trial bikes and triathlon bikes were then added in the 2000s. The entire spectrum of customer requirements was thus covered. However, the manufacturer Focus did not turn a blind eye to the progressive development of electric motorisation in the bicycle sector. The market has been growing for years, which is why the existing expertise within the company has been utilised to develop high-quality bikes in this segment too. Anyone opting for a Focus e-bike can therefore be sure that they are not dealing with an inexperienced company that wants to get a slice of the money from the e-bike boom. Instead, the company has been working professionally in all areas of cycling for years to combine optimum riding enjoyment with high-quality technologies at a favourable price.

What type of e-bike can I get from Focus?

As has already been explained, the German bicycle brand was initially a division of Derby Cycle that specialised in mountain bikes. It will therefore come as no surprise that it is possible to purchase a Focus E mountain bike without any problems. This type of e-bike is very popular with customers anyway. They are robust and can cope with all the demands of everyday life. The increased rolling resistance of the profiled tyres is not a problem thanks to the support of the motor. However, if you fancy a trip into the mountains or the neighbouring forest, the mountain bike can also be used as a piece of sports equipment. This is particularly suitable for less athletically ambitious cyclists so that they don't overexert themselves.

However, if you only want to be able to ride quickly around town or on flat routes, Focus offers bikes that can be categorised as touring and trekking bikes. With these, it is even easier to glide almost silently through cities, along rivers or along neighbouring country lanes.

What technological features does a Focus e-bike have?

Every bike from the German brand combines state-of-the-art technology and maximum riding enjoyment. This is demonstrated by the following aspects, among others:

High-quality and powerful motors from Bosch and Shimano
Optimum lightweight construction thanks to carbon or aluminium frames
ergonomic frame geometry for body-friendly riding
robust and durable components that can withstand any weather and any surface.

Who are Focus e-bikes suitable for?

It is in the interests of the Stuttgart-based brand not to exclude anyone when choosing the latest bike. That is why there is such an enormous variety of products. This allows everyone to find a new bike. Focus bikes can therefore easily be described as a product for everyone. A wide range of personal wishes and needs are taken into account. On the surface, this starts with the choice of colour. A wide variety of designs and colour concepts are available to suit all preferences. With bicycles, however, it is also very important to find the optimum frame size. After all, a lot of time is spent on the bike. If it doesn't fit your body perfectly, this can lead to unpleasant consequences such as back or knee pain. To ensure that every body size can be catered for, the range of frame sizes for high-class bikes covers a broad spectrum. To increase riding comfort, a Focus mountain bike with electric drive also comes with suspension. The individual models are available with different suspension travel to suit individual requirements. Depending on the terrain to be ridden on, these can have an influence on the purchase decision. The same applies to the choice of wheel sizes. The manufacturer offers all sizes from 26 to 29 inches. This means that lovers of time-honoured 26-inch wheels will get their money's worth just as much as those of today's dominant 29-inch version.

It is aspects like these that are of decisive importance when buying a bike. It is already apparent here that Focus manufactures e-bikes for all groups of people.
