Echelon EX-5 Smart Connect Bike

The Echelon Connect EX-5 is a versatile indoor cycle designed for intense and varied training sessions at home. With a total of 32 resistance levels, the intensity can be finely tuned and adapted to your personal fitness level and various training goals. This makes the bike suitable for controlled endurance sessions as well as intense intervals and challenging indoor cycling workouts. The EX-5 can be connected via Bluetooth to a compatible smart device and the Echelon Fit app. When used with compatible workouts, the bike also supports automatic resistance adjustment, allowing the intensity to change dynamically during the workout.

To ensure the most personalised riding position possible, both the saddle and the handlebars can be adjusted for height and horizontally. This allows the bike to be adapted to different body heights and preferred riding positions. The ventilated sports saddle is designed for athletic training sessions, whilst the raised bullhorn handlebars offer various grip options. Additional elbow rests allow for further positions and are particularly practical during longer or more intense sessions.

The Connect EX-5 also offers several options when it comes to the pedals. The reversible pedals feature SPD-compatible clip-in mechanisms on one side and adjustable toe clips on the other. This means you can train in either suitable cycling shoes or normal sports shoes. This makes it easier for several people to share the indoor bike whilst also offering the option to train with a secure connection to the pedal, depending on your requirements.

For digital training sessions, the bike features a built-in mount for smartphones and tablets measuring between 5.5 and 12.5 inches. This allows you to position your own device directly in your field of vision so that you can, for example, follow training programmes or other content whilst cycling. The mount can be rotated through 180 degrees, allowing the display to be used even during workouts away from the bike.

Two large bottle holders ensure that drinks remain within easy reach at all times during your workout. In addition, the EX-5 features mounts for dumbbells weighing up to 0.9 kg each. This allows you to incorporate upper-body exercises into your workout. Weighing around 48 kg in total, the indoor cycle is ready for training, but can be moved more easily around the room after a session thanks to the integrated transport castors at the front.
