Rowing just like on the water

Rowing on a Fluid Rower sounds, feels and looks just as if you were on the water. This is thanks to the high-quality water tank with patented Twin-Tank technology. This unique system allows you to easily adjust the water resistance at any time using the dial.

Adjustable fluid resistance

The Fluid Rower’s water tank consists of two separate chambers: an inner and an outer tank. The inner tank is the passive tank or storage tank, whilst the outer tank serves as the active tank or resistance tank.

If you select a higher resistance using the dial whilst rowing, water is transferred from the passive tank to the active tank. As a result, you will feel increased resistance after just a few strokes. If you select a lower resistance, the water is drawn back from the active tank into the passive tank, so that the resistance decreases again after just a few strokes.

Lifetime guarantee on the water tank for private use

During your workout, you benefit from quick and smooth resistance adjustment and do not need to set the water level in the tank in advance. The patented Fluid Resistance Twin Tank has been refined and optimised down to the last detail: provided the maximum water capacity is not exceeded, the tank is leak-proof – even when the machine is stored upright. That is why, for private use, you receive a 25-year lifetime guarantee on the water tank.

Fluid Bluetooth Monitor: Real-time training data

The Fluid Bluetooth Monitor gives you direct insight into all key training metrics such as time, watts, calories, distance and strokes per minute. You can also connect the monitor via Bluetooth to training apps such as Fluid Connect, Regatta, Asensei, EXR and Kinomap.

If you wish to train based on your heart rate, you can connect the monitor via Bluetooth to a digital heart rate monitor. This is available separately.

High comfort, stability and balance whilst rowing

It’s the details of a Fluid Rower that make the difference. The seat ensures a particularly comfortable rowing workout. After years of research and development, the optimal balance between firmness and softness has been achieved. Thanks to its well-thought-out ergonomic design and non-slip surface, you’ll sit securely yet comfortably.

The seat is positioned higher up, making it easier to get on the machine. Comfort can be further enhanced with a Fluid Seat Back Kit and an Elevation Kit.

For added stability, the seat runs on a double rail. The double-bearing rollers beneath the seat glide smoothly over two plastic strips attached to both rails. This reduces wear and tear and ensures a consistently quiet rowing experience: all you hear is the sound of the water as it moves.

Each foot is securely positioned

The footplates are height-adjustable and feature two sturdy, separate foot straps, allowing each foot to be secured individually. Your feet are positioned close together – much like in a real rowing boat.

Both footplates are fitted with a specially shaped heel cup at the bottom. This provides an optimal fit around the heel of your shoe and moves with you during every rowing stroke. This prevents your foot from slipping off the footplate during your workout.

Ergonomic handle for a secure grip and correct posture

The Fluid Rower Neon Plus features an ergonomic handle. Thanks to its slightly curved and extra-wide design, it offers optimal grip with every rowing stroke. Your body automatically adopts good posture, allowing you to use your strength efficiently.

The handle is connected to a nylon strap: strong, quiet and stable. The tension of the bungee – that is, the elastic strap that pulls the pull cord back – has been optimised so that it does not create any additional resistance, yet still pulls the strap evenly back into the machine as soon as you move forwards. This happens in a smooth, flowing motion, without any annoying tugging or jerking of the band.

Tank frame for powerful rowing strokes

The steel frame above the tank absorbs the greatest forces during your workout. This is because you push off from the footplates whilst simultaneously pulling on the pull cord via the pulley at the front of the frame.

On the Fluid Rower Neon Plus, this frame consists of a curved steel element. This reduces squeaking and creaking, and makes the machine feel particularly stable. This means you can train intensively on the Fluid Rower without having to worry about its load-bearing capacity.

After your workout, you can simply move your Fluid Rower to one side. The centre of gravity is at the front of the machine, making it easy to tilt. Thanks to the bearings and the soft transport wheels, you can move the rowing machine effortlessly without damaging your floor.

Perfected down to the last detail

Years of experience and expertise have enabled us to optimise every Fluid Rower down to the last detail. This is evident, amongst other things, in the unique resistance system.

With many other water-resistance rowing machines, the resistance curve is uneven: at the start of a rowing stroke, there is hardly any resistance; in the middle, there is a distinct peak; and at the end, the resistance eases off again.

Thanks to a special adjustment to the impeller in the water tank, Fluid Rowers feature what is known as ‘Instant Catch’. This ensures that resistance is felt continuously throughout every rowing stroke – from start to finish.
