The fēnix® 8’s high-quality design is up to any challenge. It is suitable for diving, features waterproof buttons, metal sensor protection and a bright 1.4-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with scratch-resistant sapphire glass and a titanium bezel. The smartwatch has been tested to US military standards for thermal performance, shock resistance and water resistance.

When you’re out in remote areas, including up to 80 kilometres off the coast, the smartwatch’s inReach technology lets you send messages and receive location check-ins once a satellite connection has been established. You don’t need a smartphone connection.

Going for a run? Or a swim? Simply leave your smartphone at home and use your smartwatch’s LTE connection to send messages and make voice calls. What’s more, friends can track your location via LiveTrack™ and location check-ins – all via the Garmin Messenger™ app. You can even check weather conditions and forecasts.

Use the LTE connection to make calls directly from your smartwatch without carrying your smartphone. You can also control the watch’s functions using voice commands, even without your smartphone. Or use your smartphone’s voice assistant to reply to text messages, for example.

View terrain contours on TopoActive maps and access pre-installed maps for golf courses and ski slopes around the world. With dynamic RoundTrip routing, you enter your desired distance and receive route suggestions from your smartwatch to ensure you return to your starting point in good time.
