The frameset, wheels, cockpit and other parts are developed and tested together to work as a system. The all-new OverDrive Aero steerer technology is combined with a Contact SL AeroLight stem and Contact SL handlebar to incorporate internal cable routing that unites the top cap, cables and spacers in a more aerodynamic, user-friendly configuration.
With a better stiffness-to-weight ratio than the last generation, new aerodynamic tube shapes and a lower overall weight, this no-compromise road bike offers explosive acceleration and unrelenting pedalling stiffness. The result is winning performance in the decisive moments.
All tube shapes are developed using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modelling and wind tunnel testing. From the truncated elliptical shape of the frame tubes to the new cockpit design and component integration, the result is a more streamlined profile that improves overall aerodynamic performance compared to the previous generation.
