The Kross Esker 5.0 Gold Graphite 2025 is a versatile gravel bike that combines the strengths of a road bike and a mountain bike in a modern, robust package. It is aimed at adventurers, bikepacking fans and anyone who values comfort, reliability and versatility - whether on tarmac, gravel or forest tracks.

At its heart is a lightweight yet stable aluminium frame (6061 Performance), which has been specially developed for the second generation (GEN2). The geometry ensures a comfortable, upright riding position, while numerous mounting points make it easy to attach pannier racks, mudguards and other accessories - ideal for longer tours and bikepacking adventures. The high-quality powder coating effectively protects the frame from scratches and corrosion. The chassis is complemented by a stiff carbon fork with internal cable routing, which not only saves weight, but also effectively dampens vibrations and ensures even more riding comfort.

The Esker 5.0 relies on the new Shimano GRX RX822 1x12 drivetrain, which has been specially developed for gravel use. The combination of GRX RX610 crank (40 teeth) and a Deore M6100 cassette with a wide gear range (10-51 teeth) offers an enormous range - perfect for steep climbs and fast passages. The gears work precisely and reliably, even under demanding conditions.

For long distances, the Esker 5.0 is equipped with an ergonomic Selle Royal Comfort Groove saddle and a grippy Fizik handlebar tape. The internal cable management ensures a tidy look and protects the cables from external influences. The aluminium handlebars and stem offer stability and control, while the geometry ensures a balanced, safe riding experience.
