The KROSS Esker 8.0 is equipped with Shimano hardware that works well both on tarmac and off-road. We have used a proven 2x12 drivetrain that allows you to ride comfortably in all conditions. With a cassette in the 11-34 range, you can ride fast on the flat and tackle steep climbs with ease.
To ensure safe braking in all conditions, hydraulic disc brakes from Shimano have been installed. These offer a much higher braking performance than classic V-brakes. They also offer a much greater and more precise modulation of braking force than mechanical disc brakes.
