Schwinn’s innovative fitness bike uses a fan that generates air resistance. Unlike electronically adjustable resistance systems, you can freely set your own individual and varying resistance levels without having to press any buttons on the display. The principle is simple and highly effective. The harder you train, the greater the air resistance generated in the drive wheel.

Sophisticated console

The AD8’s well-positioned console features a total of 9 training programmes (including interval programmes, heart rate-controlled programmes and a fat-burning programme). The various interval programmes can be customised individually, both in terms of training time and rest time; furthermore, you can manually switch between aerobic and anaerobic training. An integrated calorie counter provides you with useful feedback on your completed workout and the calories burnt.
