Combine performance and racing specifications with a more comfortable riding position – and you’ve got the SCOTT Addict 40. It’s a fast road bike that adapts easily to any ride, any pace or any destination, and one that doesn’t leave you contorting yourself whilst riding.

Starting with the lightweight and stiff HMF carbon frame, it’s designed to balance the performance of road cycling with all-road comfort. The frame is 25 % more compliant vertically than classic road bikes, ensuring a smoother, quieter ride on uneven terrain. The geometry is also more open, with a higher stack and a shorter reach than a road bike setup, to ensure all-day comfort in the saddle. The tyre clearance is also designed with long tours in mind, accommodating tyres up to 38 mm for maximum comfort when you take your Addict 40 on an adventure over mixed terrain. Of course, that doesn’t mean it’s a slowpoke – you can really pick up the pace on it. It’s responsive at the pedals, quick on the climbs and stable on the descents. Whether it’s a fast-paced, adrenaline-fuelled ride or a leisurely Sunday outing – both are great fun on this bike.

We’ve equipped the Addict 40 with the versatility to handle any ride. Shimano’s 105 Di2 2-speed electric drivetrain offers performance and reliability on a budget, whilst the durable Syncros RP2.0 wheels with Schwalbe ONE tyres ensure a fast and safe ride, wherever you go.
