A thick yoga mat for extra comfort
The Tunturi Yoga Mat 8 mm is ideal for all forms of yoga where you do a lot of poses lying down or sitting, such as Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Meditation. This is because the mat is thicker than "normal" yoga mats (3-4 mm), which provides extra comfort and allows you to get into a state of relaxation faster. Ideal if a hard floor at home or in the gym easily causes discomfort.

Less stress on muscles and joints
The mat is also great for other forms of exercise such as fitness and Pilates, even if you suffer from (chronic) pain or are recovering from an injury. The thickness of the mat reduces stress on the back, legs, knees, ankles and joints.
