To ensure optimum team performance, the two cranks are decoupled by a freewheel. This allows the ‘stoker’ to pedal independently of the pilot. Power is transmitted between the front and rear cranks via a clean, low-maintenance and exceptionally durable carbon-reinforced toothed belt. Thanks to intelligently calibrated, elegantly integrated batteries, the FLYER Tandem has an extra-low centre of gravity and offers plenty of assistance and even greater range. The seating position can be individually adjusted for both riders via the saddle adjustment and the angle-adjustable stems.
