Maxxis MTB Minion DHF 29er tires, 2.50 (WT), 3C MaxxTerra, DD + TR

In the Minion DHF, proven elements such as beveled lugs for low rolling resistance and great smoothness have been combined with slow-slotted lugs for more grippy edges. This gives it excellent directional stability and precise cornering. The Minion DHF is constantly updated and supplemented with new versions. Currently new: wide 27.5 "Enduro versions and the new dd carcass for hard enduro and light downhill use.

SuperTacky: The SuperTacky tread is the reference for grip and performance in freeride and downhill tires, in short, the basis of the most successful downhill tires in the world. It consists of a base compound and the SuperTacky compound extremely grippy under all ground conditions.

3C Maxx Grip: Superior racing performance through three different rubber compounds in different positions in the tread. The base layer provides low rolling resistance and stability of the tread lugs. The compound in the center of the tread provides the best grip on any surface, while the extremely cushioned compound on the shoulder lugs provides the best possible cornering grip.

3C Maxx Terra: Significantly more grip and traction through softer compounds, with acceptable rolling resistance, so you can still go well up the mountain, before the great descents, and long life.

Exo Protection: This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewall of various MTB tires. It is very tightly woven, lightweight and very flexible. This keeps the performance of the tires changed convincingly good.

Exo+ Protection: The new Exo+ construction combines two of our best puncture protection materials: SilkShield and Exo. The Silkshield layer surrounds the entire tire from bead to bead, while the Exo layer is mounted on the sidewalls. Together this gives Exo+ with the following advantages: better puncture protection on the tread, stronger sidewall, more puncture protection.

Tubeless Ready: Tubeless tires have many advantages, you can ride with less air pressure and thus have better traction, the rolling resistance is lower than with tube, and where there is no tube, the risk of punctures also decreases.

Double Down: Double Down tires are built like downhill tires, two carcass layers reinforced with a butyl insert in the sidewall. However, with two 120 TPI (instead of 60TPI) carcass plies and aramid bead, they are significantly lighter, stronger, more robust and therefore ideal for hard enduro courses.
