The Platinum Core treadmill is a unique and versatile treadmill for professional and commercial use. Thanks to the 4 unique modes and functions - sled, treadmill, limit mode and reverse running - the device is an indispensable addition to any gym, training studio, (corporate) fitness studio and physiotherapy practice. The treadmill has 57 programmes, 15 incline angles, a strength test and a unique starting speed of 0.1 km/h.
Train your legs, arms and core with the sled mode
Sled training is often offered in fitness centres and personal training studios. You use a weighted fitness sled (also known as a power sled or prowler) to push or pull weights along a track. It is a very intensive workout that challenges the whole body and raises the heart rate very quickly.
With the Core treadmill, power sled training is no longer limited to an outdoor workout or a fitness class where you need different equipment and a long track. All you need is this treadmill. You not only train your legs, but also your arms and your core (abdominal, lower back and gluteal muscles). You use the core bar at the front of the treadmill to push or, if you are running backwards, to pull. The core bar has two positions, which you set using the "pop pin", which works like a rotary knob.
- In the loose position, the bar sits loosely and moves horizontally with you. This creates additional resistance and makes training a little more difficult. If you want even more resistance and challenge, you can attach the special bungee resistance bands to the core bar.
- When fixed, the core bar does not move with you.
Measure your strength and push yourself to your limits with the strength test
The treadmill has 5 different sled programmes: Training by time, distance, a manual programme, a personal programme and a strength test. In the latter, you train for 30, 60, 90 or 120 seconds at maximum resistance. The treadmill measures and displays how much power, expressed in watts, you are exerting at that time and how far you have run. This function is unique on a treadmill and makes the device very suitable for HIIT workouts, for example.
The rings on the back of the treadmill offer the option of attaching resistance bands (e.g. Powerbands) to provide even more variety and resistance during power sled training.

A complete commercial treadmill
In treadmill mode, the Core Treadmill has a starting speed of 0.8 km/h and a top speed of 20 km/h. With 15 different incline angles and 52 programmes, including time, distance, calorie and heart rate training, 5 user profiles and 10 preset graphic profiles on 4 different levels, the treadmill offers enough challenges for recreational and professional use. In addition, the treadmill has two unique programmes: limit mode and reverse mode.
Limit mode: safe rehabilitation at low speeds between 0.1 - 2.5 km/h
Compared to the other programmes and modes, the limit mode offers a lower minimum and maximum speed. In this programme, the treadmill has a unique starting speed of just 0.1 km/h and a maximum speed of 2.5 km/h. The speed can be increased or decreased by 0.1 kilometres per hour. The speed buttons on the control panel also have a customised range. Instead of the usual 100 metres, in this mode the monitor displays the distance covered per metre. Thanks to these options, you can train much more accurately, making the Core treadmill very suitable for both light and heavy rehabilitation training.
Reverse running mode: a new dimension for every workout
The treadmill mode also has a special reverse programme. This programme has the same scope as the limit mode (a speed of 0.1 to 2.5 km/h), with the running mat literally moving in the other direction so that you are walking backwards. Walking backwards is a good physiotherapeutic exercise that you can also combine with an incline. If you start the treadmill with the reverse running programme, add an incline and turn around, you will be running downhill instead of uphill.
Easy operation via 3 control panels
The Core treadmill has three control panels. Below the screen is a control panel with buttons for quick and easy programme selection. The control panels on both handles allow you to adjust the speed and incline angle before or during training. The treadmill is equipped with a REHA rail so that the handles run along the entire length of the treadmill. They are also equipped with heart rate sensors. This makes the treadmill very suitable for use in rehabilitation. The orthopaedic running mat provides additional cushioning, suspension and support.
