Easy switching between 32 resistance levels
With the maintenance-free magnetic brake, you can switch effortlessly between the 32 resistance levels. This allows you to control the intensity of your workout at any time, even whilst exercising. For example, you don’t need to get off the bike or interrupt your workout to change the resistance levels. The braking system uses magnets set in motion by the servo motor. On the E40’s screen, you can see the resistance level and adjust it during your workout simply by turning the knob.

Let AI create a new programme
With the Bluetooth AI monitor, you can keep track of all your training parameters and see at a glance which programme you’re currently following and at what resistance level you’re training. The monitor is fully tiltable and remains easy to read even in bright light. It also displays your BAI (Body Activity Index). This unique value is calculated based on your heart rate, age, gender and duration of your workout. The device’s AI technology uses your training results to create a new, personalised training programme in iConsole+, ensuring you’re always working towards your individual training goals.

Train indoors as if you were outdoors
Do you train indoors a lot and get bored with the road or the wall? Then add an extra visual challenge to your workout! The E40 connects via Bluetooth to apps such as Tunturi Routes or Zwift. With Tunturi Routes, you can turn your workout into a visual experience. Climb the Alpe d’Huez or choose a scenic route through villages and woods. With the free version of the app, you always have 15 route videos available; the paid version offers you hundreds of routes. What’s more, the E40 is compatible with Zwift, which means the video adapts to the pace at which you’re cycling.

Always the right posture and a comfortable grip
Good training posture is essential on an exercise bike. The E40’s Multigrip handlebars offer various grip positions with a soft foam layer, so you can always train in comfort. What’s more, the handlebars can be easily adjusted to allow you to choose between a leisure, sport or racing position, adding extra variety to your sessions. Thanks to the sensors in the handlebars, you can always keep an eye on your heart rate on the AI monitor.
